This acrylic painting take elements in real life around me, indicating my personal impression the place where I created most of my artworks - home. showing the table, lamp, and the window in front of me. This artwork is all about seeking my balance between a long last hobby and a future profession, since taking your original hobby into your future career could be very exhausting and passion consuming. The struggle is shown through the giangantic panit brush I was holding and the white string that pulls me from a confort position. The tone of this painting was intentinally created to be stressful with a dark crimson scheme.

Artwork created fully in color oil pastel, being the second and third pieces of oil pastel I've ever created. These two pieces are "Blind self portrait" themed, which means that the artist sketches and paints themselves without a photograph/selfie of themselves, using a specific mirror as a reference.
The theme of the color wheel was complementary colors, where in the first take (left-hand) I applied gold and purple, in my second take I used blue and orange.

This printmaking project explores the concept of reflecting on the changes that occur in one person over time. As a reduction printmaking project, this differs from the previous printmaking project in that three layers of color are applied on top of each other. From light to dark, adding colors one by one.
The process of the printmaking project all starts with sketching out on a right-sized sheet of paper and marking out where all the colors should be. For example, the artwork I am creating requires 3 colors other than blank white - purple, blue, and black, so I would mark out in detail on the parts where I want both colors for to go, especial every color and to be presented. Applying the technique of crosslines to show the overlap of colors.

After a simple reflection and tracing, there would be everything on your sketch would be traced out on the block that you need to carve.
In order to actually print out colors in different layers, carve a part where you want to leave one following the order, then go through first, only the black one by one, from light to dark.

The word "Indirect" here refers to the color of the painting being applied indirectly, not in the traditional way of putting colors directly onto the completed sketches, but first putting on only monochromatic color, and separating the colors through the brightness of each area, then putting on color using a special glazing material mixed with paints, where it is acrylic being mixed with the glazing material in this artwork.
The items in the painting are provided in class at school, surrounding the theme of liveliness, the brighter highlights of the painting, being the white parts of the plaid fabric, balance the painting's lightness and darkness, and the grapes at the center being a really good contrast to its highlights.

Artwork Created fully in color oil pastel, this piece is the first oil pastel I have ever created. It is based on the theme of materials and tools utilized for a Thanksgiving meal. Personally, my comment on this artwork is that this piece lacks layers and depth, which means that everything in the camera's view appears too flat, and the shadows do not properly emphasize the front and back of the items. Overall, it is a good start with oil pastel. In the future, there will be visually more impressive, pleasant, and more experienced artworks in oil pastel being created.
